Slow performance during scanning can be caused by other programs running in the background or limited disk space on the computer.
To improve performance:
1. Check background processes
Open Task Manager to see if any applications are using high CPU or memory.
Note: Antivirus software running in the background can slow down processing.
2. Check disk space
Ensure your computer’s disk is not near full capacity.
Open Disk Management by Pressing Windows + X and check local disk space.
